A big thanks to Mano
(Multimedia) for the edits.
Recap: “Yes I can understand.
Rudra Pratap Ranawat is synonymous with anger and outburst. But Myrah will come
around. Don’t worry about that. After all she is Paro. And once her memory
comes back everything will be alright “ Sunehri’s husband (Aman) put in words
of comfort
“Haan. It is
easier said than done. I wonder when everything will return to normal “ Rudra
confided in the single soul who stood by him through thick and thin.
What happened
in the following days was a nightmare. For everybody. And it was a few years
later when Sunehri parents could still not decide on a groom for her that Aman
decided to act. Aman who had seen only suffering and treachery in his job. Aman who had lost his parents in a young age. Who could also not have the luck to be with his sister for long. Who was a reserved person. Dedicated to his job. Aman knew they were not similar at all. She was a chirpy carefree immature girl. Whereas he has been mellowed down to the point of being a recluse by live’s hardships and the reality which he witnessed as part of BSD. Maybe himself and Sunehri are a mismatch. But he knew opposites attract. And he felt the attraction. May not be the one which poems and romantic novels talk about. May not be love at first sight. May not be the soul connection which very few have the luck to feel. But for him this will do. All Aman wanted was one happy soul to be with. A simple person who can lift his spirits. Be with him always. Loyal and supportive. Aman was not looking for a whirlwind romance or a love written in novels. He just wanted to be home everyday to a person who will allow him to be happy. A person who herself will be happy all the time. A person who has an infectious joy around her. Who else than Sunehri ? Inspite of being Mohini's daughter, inspite of seeing all the anger, hatred and sarcasm all her life - turned out to be the sunshine of the house. Who always had a
smile for him. For everybody. Who wanted all around to live in harmony. Who
never had a care about this world. Aman wanted to bring the smile back on her
face. Which she lost after what Shantanu did.
Thus Aman who always had a soft corner for her came forward – rather
timidly - with his proposal. To Rudra first. And Rudra was more than happy. And
he took Kakusa into confidence. Having known Aman for years the decision was
easy for Kakusa. It was not that easy to convince Mohini. But together they
could. And what helped was Sunehri’s dream of marrying a Vardiwal. And Sunehri
was more than happy. And so it was decided to arrange the wedding. The first
celebration in the family which went into mourning the day they lost the purest
of souls to the villain. A celebration which changed the look and feel of the
haveli. A celebration which was such a joyous event for young Dhruv and Koel. And
a year later they were blessed with a baby boy. Saurabh. A younger brother for
the kids in the haveli. Ofcourse the family could meet them only once in a
while. But it helped that they were confident that Sunehri was in the right
hands. As Paro always says “Bhagya”. Sunehri’s Bhagya !!
Cutting to
the present, Rudra had confided all his findings about Paro only in Aman. He
could not tell his Bhabhisa. Not that she was not trustworthy. But it was
difficult for her to keep the promise. If she knew Myrah is her Paro she will
not be able to keep it to herself. She would have rushed to Myrah immediately
and hugged her tight. Become quite emotional. And vVery soon she would have
told Paro the entire truth and Rudra could not let that happen. He could not
have told anybody else in the family. Not even Kakusa. He was not as close to
anybody as Aman. And Aman for one will keep the secret till the end. So no
worries in that front.
Being from
BSD both of them had listed down all the findings and came to the same
conclusion that Myrah is Paro. Her nightmares explained in the video messages,
her behaviour when sedated, her loss of memory, her accident at the exact time
of Paro’s all point to the truth. That Myrah is Paro. And Rudra was convinced.
And Aman was almost sure though he still had some nagging questions in his
mind. It is quite possible that Rudra had them too but Rudra interacted with
Myrah personally. And he knew Parvathi better than anybody. And Aman believed
in Rudra’s analysis and conclusion anyday than his own.
“Let us hope
for the best Sir. Am sure once Myrah’s parents are here and they get to know
you and Dhruv things will fall in place” Aman voiced his opinion. Aman still
addressed him as Sir. Inspite of Rudra himself asking Aman to call him by name.
Old habits die hard.
“Is there any
update from the hospital about what happened seven years back ? I could not get
any help from BSD to look into the same.” Aman sounded sad that he could not
help
“That is fine
Aman. I have already assigned one of my detectives onto the task a week back.
But unfortunately he could not find anything yet. In the fire which happened in
the BSD hospital two years back many documents were destroyed. He is still checking
it out.” Rudra replied and then added ” My present concern is how to get
through the wedding without any major debates and disagreements. This Sunday
Myrah’s parents will be here. “
For once Aman
could see Rudra thinking of how to impress somebody in his life, though he
still did not put it in so many words. The Rudra he knows does not care what
others think about him. He is a go getter. And a man with strong beliefs and
convictions. And he does not mince words or try to please anybody. He can be
the Jallad when it comes to taking what he wants.
But no one
has any power over what time can achieve. Rudra has to make some changes to his
attitude and behaviour since it is now about Parvathi. And the thought that
Rudra is trying to woo her and her parents made Aman smile. And Rudra did not
miss it. He knew the reason behind it. But decided to ignore the smile. And he
went to Dhruv’s room to check on his homework.
And Aman the
sweet person that he is, decided to let the matter go. Did not pursue it. It
was after so many years that he is seeing a not so brooding Rudra. Yes Rudra
was worried about the impending meeting on Sunday. But he was at peace.
Content. Happy if you can say it – though smile was a rare visitor to Rudra’s
face always !!
The fact that
Paro is alive and that Rudra could find her again. That destiny brought her to
his haveli. That they are close to being together again has changed Rudra’s
disposition a lot. And nobody was happier than Aman. It had pained him to see
the person whom he admired and loved so much go through such pain. A person who
has seen nothing but sadness , betrayal and contempt in his younger days. It was heart wrenching to see Rudra lose
something so precious in a matter of days. Rudra was lucky to get what was clearly
out of bounds even in his wildest dreams – a chance to love and be loved by
Paro. And just as he started enjoying the abundance of love bestowed on him by
Paro – it was snatched away so cruelly. Aman himself felt the pain and spent
many sleepless nights. He could not even imagine what Rudra was going through.
Aman was
transported back to those dark days. The day Parvathi was attacked by Shantanu.
How Rudra had rushed her to the hospital. How Aman had been by Rudra’s side the
entire night and the next day. He still remembers waiting outside the operation
theatre. Such was the stillness in the place that he could hear their hearts
beating. Each breath taken. Death lurking in the corners made the atmosphere
eerie. There were other patients also getting operated on the same day. So
quite some people waiting outside the OR. But still the place was so silent. As
if people were scared that the beloved of the first one to talk will be taken
away by the God of death.
Death and
prospective death force people to relook at their priorities. Make them reflect
on their behaviour in the past. What they could have done right. Where they
went wrong. What could have been better. And Rudra did the same sitting in that
hospital corridor. Aman remembered how much guilt Rudra felt those hours. For
not protecting Parvathi. For not treating her properly from the beginning. For
making her go through the hate wedding. For pushing her away not once but
multiple times. For testing her love. For erupting on her like a volcano at the
drop of a hat. For blaming her for all the wrong things – starting from
supporting Tejawat, to burning Dilsher’s room to leaking the photo to papers. Blamed
her even for the right things she did – putting on an act to convince the NGO
workers and requesting Singh Sir to give Rudra the job back. Tears flowed
freely from Rudra’s eyes that night. Tears which did not help the situation.
Tears which could not take the clock back. Tears which did nothing but kept flowing
out.
Till the
doctor came and delivered the shattering news. Then Rudra went still. Like a
rock.
It is a well
known fact that people go through four stages of grief.
- Denial
- Anger
- Depression
- Acceptance
For Rudra it
was denial for the first few days. Even while leaving the place after setting
the pyre on fire he had made a promise to Parvathi that he will wait for her –
ever. As if she has just caught a bus to Birpur to see her Mamisa. And that she
will be back after a day or two. He tried to remove all possible things which
pointed to her departure. Literally scrubbed the floor clean himself. Put
everything back in order the way Parvathi liked. Aman later came to know from
Sunehri that he everyday arranged pillows and covered them with Parvathi’s dress
, a blanket and hugged it telling himself and Dhruv that Maasa is sleeping and
that we should not disturb her. Made religiously two plates for every meal and
brought it to his room though in the end both the plates looked similar –
untouched. He never allowed anybody else to wash his clothes. Every night after
his bath he himself will do the chore and put them up for drying. Along with a
set of Paro’s dress washed and squeezed dry. It was as if he was hoping that she will come
back to help him with the mundane chores.
He started
detesting full moons. And used to gaze at the half moons all the time. Adhoore
Cheeson Mein Bhi .......It was as if Paro’s likes and dislikes have replaced his
own. Every week he used to buy a new set of choodiyan for Paro. Taking great care
that he selected the colours she did not have already. And some times Maithili
could see some old broken bangles in their room. And the answer from Rudra when
questioned was,” Stupid Paro. She never takes care of her bangles. Yesterday
also she broke some. Now I need to buy a new set for her.”
Rudra never
missed a single day in BSD. He acted as if nothing has happened. Will talk
over his silent phone to his Paro at least twice a day. Used to get agitated in
late evenings saying Parvathi will be waiting for him.
Then anger
set in. After a couple of months. And that was that. For a very long time to
come. He immersed himself into work. All
the time. Went relentlessly after Thakur’s men. Almost decimated them to a level that there was no chance left for Thakur to make a come back. Pursued
the case against Shantanu to an extent that Rudra took a breather only after
Shantanu was given life imprisonment. Except for catching Thakur everything was
done by Rudra and BSD to stop all the terrorist activities.
This period
also had him in depression in the nights. When he will drink himself to
unconsciousness till the wee hours of the morning. And then will roam around in the haveli like a
Bhatakti Aatma. When he used to go and sit in the terrace for hours together. At the peak of
the depression he will sing some old Hindi song - besura hi sahi. Hoping he can see Paro laugh. And then
he can threaten to silence her by being so close to her that she finds it
difficult to breathe. He will be in the room searching for the imaginary rat
i- always magining Paro taking cover just behind him. And this routine would have continued all his life.
But it was not meant to be. Bhagya of Dhruv. Else Dhruv would never have known
his father’s love. News arrived on a fine
morning three years back which changed Rudra’s life again. But this time for
the better. A news which made him give up his job and start his own private
security firm.
But still
Rudra never reached the last stage of the grief. He was calm and composed. He
was a much tamer version of his previous self. He did not drink to destruction.
Lived for Dhruv. But he never accepted that Parvathi is no more. It was as if
she was with him. There was no need to recreate her presence. She was with him
invisible to others. He lived in his memories. Sweet ones clearly blocking out
the bitter ones. Talked a lot about Paro to his Dhruv. Tried his best to make
Parvathi real in Dhruv’s days through these anecdotes. It was as if Rudra knew
she will come back to him – one day. And he waited patiently preparing Dhruv to
recognise her then.
“Aman, aap yahan
ho ? Everybody is waiting for you to start dinner. Come fast.” Aman was
literally jolted out of his thoughts by Sunehri. His sweet innocent lively
wife. It was his Bhagya that he got her in his life.
Dinner was
fun – for the first time as far as he can remember. Even when Parvathi was
around earlier atmosphere was quite tense in the haveli. Sunehri’s Maasa was
not the same person as now. Never used to let any opportunity go to insult
Maithili Bhabhisa. The change is her is so vast that it was difficult for Aman
to believe it. They say seeing is believing. But even seeing it now for the
first time did not convince him fully. But everybody else seems to go with the
flow. And he decided to keep his opinions to himself.
The younger
women sat down with the men and children. That was a first in this haveli. He
looked up to see Rudra entering with Myrah. Ready to hold her lest she falls.
The ever protector. Whose role is justified in this life by Parvathi returning as Myrah.
It gave
Mythili a lot of pleasure to see the whole family together now. Too much
pleasure that she immediately was scared and thought to herself, “Bhole Baaaba,
Raksha Karna. Kisi Ki Nazar Na Lage Is Parivaar Ko.”
OMG! this chapter... loved it :) And the collages are worth dying for or maybe it's the guy in collages , our Major saab, is worth dying for. Everything is written superbly , from the beginning till the end. SUPERB
ReplyDeleteFirst to comment. Thank you dear. Am so glad you liked I was wondering whether I will get royally beaten up for an emotional chapter.
DeleteIt's jasmin here! Wow would you look at this! This is like ur ow PaRud world ! Loving it !!
DeleteThis was wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo emotional!
Felt like crying seeing rudra's past. I mean the way he was when Paro was gone.
I really liked how you wrote it.
I was very disappointed with how they showed us the leap.
They didn't even give one episode that was solely for Paro.
Everyone moved on except viewers. I still remember how much I cried when Paro died.
Thinking about those days makes me shiver. Paro was soul of Rangrasiya.
Your FF makes me crave for the scenes we never got.
Love - Amy
I just put into words what I missed in the serial. A better writer would have done more justice I am sure. But this is the best I could. And I was so affected reading back what I wrote. Am glad you liked it. And that you are not screaming at me for writing an emotional chapter.
DeleteAnd yes with these kind of actors who can excel even in normal scenes - we would have got such great scenes. Only if the CVs gave us some proper storyline or closure. Anyway ...
Thanks for commenting dear.
NavyaKavya
ReplyDeleteBeautiful JJKKL and so emotional......Rudra's grief, his longing for Paro, his undying love & his emotional state after her death......uff...you have presented all those brilliantly. I had a lump in my throat all through & even now I have this sinking feeling as I write this....
Also I liked the way you have put forth Sunehri/Aman wedding.....short and sweet....in one paragraph, explained beautfully .
Needless to say, Mano has surpassed herself with the edits.....
Hi NavyaKavya, Am quite happy you liked it. Rudra's grief and longing was never shown properly in the serial. I wrote this more for myself I would say. Because I knew he will feel it so badly. The character was like that.
DeleteMany people cannot accept Aman and SUnehri. So I thought Aman's POV is needed on why he chose her.
Ah Yes. Mano is a dear.
Yes, I forgot to mention this point in your blog which I was meaning to later & that point being ... Rudra pursued the case & went ahead with a vengeance to catch & punish the criminals ...Maybe Rudra is still with BSD & working undercover in the guise of having a security agency for them only ?
DeleteThank you NavyaKavya for the suggestion. Now I cannot let the story out now. Can only thank you for this input
DeleteHi JJ,
ReplyDeleteLoved the chapter.
Felt such melancholy for Rudra.
Waiting to read why he left the BSD.
Loving the collages by Mano!!
Take care.
Kerrie
Hi Kerrie,
DeleteOn time today. Even before I sent out the PM. I am so happy. Glad you loved the chapter. Yeah BSD resignation. That will take some time to reveal I am afraid.
Awesome update and so emotional. I had tears in my eyes when reading Rudra's lost and how he acted after Paro "died". You know, this would have been a wonderful episode in RR too. Why didn't they wrote a epi like that??!
ReplyDeleteMano's edits are great (as usual)
Mira [fimiramak]/IF
Hi Mira,
DeleteWas just waiting for your comment before calling it a day. I myself felt emotional thinking of how Rudra would have reacted after the accident. Ashish would have acted so well in the same. Things we could not see............
Thanks for liking the writing.
Mano's edits are the lifeof our blog.

Superb chapter JJKKL. I would rate it the BEST so far. The kind of depth you showed in Rudra's grief has not been written so far in any of the FFs. Thank you for taking us on this great emotional ride. Thank you Mano for your wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Harshuu. I would also rate this chapter as my BEST so far. I felt Rudra's grief was kind of swept under the carpet in the serial. So had to atleast put down what I felt. Am quite happy that you liked it.
DeleteSo emotional
ReplyDeleteThank God that Aman was there for Rudra to confide in
Very anxious for Myrah's parents to come
Thanks Seeta for reading and commenting.Rudra cannot trust anybody that easily. So to make him confess to Myrah's parents will not be in his character. Who else than Aman ?
DeleteNice update JJ. The part about Rudra's first few days after Paro's supposed death was so moving. I wish they had spent time on the show on this. His denial of her death and how he prepares his son for his mother's return was so beautiful. I'm so glad that destiny has brought their Paro back to them in this story.
ReplyDeleteComing to Aman and Sunheri, I felt so bad when Shantanu used her. I knew that there is a chance he may not fall for her, but I expected him to at least respect her as a friend. The poor girl was so loving towards him. It hurt to watch her innocent heart break. So Aman was the nice guy who helped her put of her grief and married her later.
Waiting for Myrah's parents to come now.
-Rithu from IF
Thank you Rithu for reading it. And giving you views. Am so glad you like it. THat the grief was convincing. I felt the CVs did not do justice to the same.
DeleteI too felt bad for Sunehri. Ofcourse I would have liked some other actress playing Sunehri - somebody who will be a fit for Aman appearnce wise. But still I wanted this jodi to happen for her happiness. And for his.
A little more time for Myrah's parents to land. Maybe the week after next :-)
Actually I never had a problem with her appearance except for the pom poms in her hair. I just wish they had made her little more mature than school girl crushes and the constant giggling.
DeleteOh well. She is all grown up now so no more worries from me.
I understand what you mean. Yes she is grown up now. School girl crushes must have gone anyway. Giggling ? Well no clue :-)
DeleteI'm glad to read the two parts. I didn't know Part 18 was updated. And yes, I prefer IF over blogs. I don't think I am a blog person. Thanks for updating it on here.
ReplyDeleteNow to the two parts. These chapters were in the "transition" phase. Myrah is starting to get flashback, but I hope that when she realizes that's it's her past, not a nightmare, she remembers everything. Don't want her to only recall the times when Rudra was a Jallad.
Next, Tejawat. He told his man to keep an eye on Myrah. Hopefully, he will learn that Myrah is just a humshakal when her parents come, and he will go back to living in his own world--and not bother PaRud. I know, that is too good to be true, but nothing wrong in hoping.
Yay! Aman's back. I love the bonding of Rudra and Aman. Oh man, my heart broke reading about Rudra's denial. I am glad he got his Paro back--well almost. She isn't fully back until her memory is back.
And at last. Maithly's intuition and her silent prayer to god. I hope it's not foreshadowing something bad in PaRud's life.
Please continue soon!
Thanks nine2. A few of the readers had commented about updating here in IF. So I plan to do that going forward. Am so glad you read both the chapters. As you yourself said Tejawat is not somebody who will keep quiet. So we need to see what he is upto. Rudra's grief was kind of brushed away by the CVs inspite of they themselves portraying his soul connection with Paro. So we had to do something about it :-)
DeleteAnd Aman was the right person for Rudra to confide in. They are quite close. And Aman is trustworthy. Hmm. you caught on to Maithili's prayer. Yes we all hope Parud will be fine. But some ups and downs are expected - right ?
Thanks again for commenting and liking the chapter
Loved the chapter Clap
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting it on IF as well Hug
Thanks Lily for reading and commenting. Are you a regular reader from Chapter 1 in our blog ? Have never seen you comment there ? Do you face difficulties in posting comments ?
DeleteI read all the chapters in one go. and found it difficult to comment on the blog so i am glad there is an IF thread where i can now comment on all the wonderful chapters written so far
DeleteLoved all the chapters.
With what happened between the Ranawats and Shantanu somewhere Sunehri was forgotten. This sweet daughter and sister found an apt mate in Aman. Aman was always a witness to Rudra's varied emotions so why not to events after the Shantanu disaster. Thanks for this wonderful update. I cried when you'll described Rudra's emotional rollercoaster after the funeral. The denial, pain, and that tiny ray of hope when he said he will await her return...Crynow he is some what at peace because his faith that she will return did not get crushed. Loved it.Smile
ReplyDeleteThanks Mukti, I would have preferred a thinner in size Sunehri for Aman but characterwise I felt she is the best person for Aman. In the beginning the girl was so happy with Aman and told both Paro and Maithili about it. But they never did anything - probably because by then the storyline changed.
DeleteRudra and Paro had such a great soul connection and then the CVs just killed Paro and that was that ? I just could not believe that Rudra can live without Paro. He would have undergone so much of pain and hurt. I am sure a better writer than me would have written this piece beautifully. Maybe made it a master piece. But then I have to be content with whatever talent I have as of now Embarrassed
It means a lot to me that you felt the emotions and that you cried while reading the chapter. Hugs to you
I only told the truth that I cried. I felt that you brought forth Rudra's state of angst, what he should have felt when he lost his soulmate. So that makes you a better writer than MS. Shivani Shah and MS. Mukta Dhond who came up with let's kill Paro and make Rudra fall in love with her look alike. I have thanked for giving us a story that should have been but was compromised, and I am thanking you again for the same. Now awating the next chapter.
DeleteYay...Thanks Mukti. You made my day
DeleteDear JJ,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting on IF... guess easier to share views...
i must confess that i have been an irregular reader of the FF but this chapter was just so succinct. Hit bulls eye.
It is extremely unfortunate that we will never have access to the original 200-episode bound script of Rangrasiya. However, this FF seems to be very near to what could have happened..
Kudos to ur writing especially the superb depiction of Rudra's pain. I am sure it would have been just the same on screen as well.
Will follow this FF with determination now... and also re-read from start..
thank you for this beautiful piece.
hiral
Thank you Hiral. For such kind words. Rudra who cried so much for the mother who left him. Whose entire attitude changed when his mother left him. How can he be so calm and collected about Paro's absence in his life ? And if he finally settles in - it can only be because of what he believes. That Paro is still alive.
DeleteSome feelings in life cannot be explained. Just a feeling which will turn out to be right in the end. Like Paro coming back to Rudra.
Dear , I feel this is my best chapter. So don't have too high hopes in the rest of it. But thanks for planning to read them. Hope you like it.
Dear JJKKL,
ReplyDeleteSuperb, excellent n too emotional chapter, actually I m silent reader, i can't described my feelings in words, But today I want to descibe my feeling n complete chapter is outstanding But spl that part where u describe Rudra conditions after Paros death, i was crying while reading that part, unable to control my tears, u write so well exactly what we want to see in RR that How story move on,
Thank u soo much for ths chapter
Silent reader posted. Highest form of appreciation Preeti. Thank you dear for liking the chapter. I was afraid all of you will be so unhappy with me for writing an emotional chapter. After all we read FFs for having some enjoyment. Not for reading abotu sorrow. But then I was wrong. Glad you loved it. I just penned down what I felt like at that moment. And read it back only after I published the post. And myself felt bad for Rudra. The serial really downplayed his emotions. They could have created such a wonderful episode around this topic. Alas........
DeleteThanks dear. And please read and comment in the future too
Awesome chapter JJ. The way you portrayed Rudra's grief, I have nothing to say. The quote below says it all
ReplyDelete"When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little 'guilty', because they really didn't 'do' it, they just 'saw' something. It seemed obvious to them after a while"
-- Steve Jobs
WoW psagars. You just took me to the seventh heaven. Glad you liked it.
DeleteWhat about the para on Aman's POV about Sunehri. That I wrote specifically for you. Were you convinced ? A little bit more at the least ?
Steve Jobs ka quote ? I admire him like anything. Thank you. Me and creativity ? I feel like laughing away to glory
JJ you are indeed a creative person. I salute you all who write such wonderful FFs.
DeleteI couldn't even imagine myself writing an essay. I used to hate it in school.
Creativity comes from imagination which you have and not from the logic which I have.
My being a good reviewer as you say might be essential in my field of work. I try to find logic in everything. But as Albert Einstein said " Logic will take you from A to B, but imagination will take you everywhere".
I even liked the para about Aman and Suneheri. truly said opposites attract. I forgot the essence of RR - "good people are always beautiful". And if Aman found his soulmate in Sunehri, I am happy for him too.
Mano's edits as usual awesome.
I will write more as things come to my mind.
Sure Reshma. Will wait to hear more from you
DeleteThank you a billion times for posting the FF on IF again
ReplyDeleteExcellent Update
Rudra's pain was depicted so well his turmoil , his state of mind
I know Taahir004 that many of you prefer IF. I on the other hand find many issues with IF. Lose many posts after typing and many times the screen does not refresh etc. Anyway I will update in IF as well going forward
DeleteGlad you liked the update.
Lovely chapter JJ...we get to see Aman and Sunheri and their little boyBig smile...
ReplyDeleteI could literally feel Rudra's pain through ur words...him trying to woo the parents is something I am looking forward to...
Mano, wonderful edits as always...
Thanks a lot Varshu. You also changed sides from blog to IF ????
DeleteGlad you liked the way the chapter was written. Rudra wooing Myrah's parents.hmmm.I am still struggling with the idea.
Yes Mano is a wonder and the her edits are wonderful
Nice chapter JJ... The part about Rudra's reaction to Paro's loss, his guilt, his pain.. You have done an awesome job... I liked the part about Aman and sunehri too...
ReplyDeleteLovely edits Mano...
Thank you dear for liking the way Rudra's pain was portrayed and the way Aman-Sunehri happened. You too Cutemithra ? Gave up on the blog and migrated here ? Sobbing...
DeleteAwsome superbb update
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. Are you a regular reader of this FF ?
DeleteI have no words to say JJ. What a brilliant update. You have depicted Rudras grief over Paros death so well. This is rudra and this is what I expected from the show. Infact many I am sure. Am so happy am able to witness this thru your story. Superb JJ. His guilt, sadness, depression very well expressed. So as usual Aman is confidante and very happy sunehri got married to her vardiwala.
ReplyDeleteNow waiting for Myrahs parents to arrive and the major drama to start. Rudra will leave no chance to woo and get married to his Paro
And lovely edits by Mano. She is truly a master in them now.
Praba
Thanks Praba. Glad you liked it. I was afraid the pain of Rudra will make you sad and you all will be very unhappy with me for not giving a romantic or light hearted chapter. But I strongly felt the need to justify Aman's presence in the show. Because he is the only person who was with him through thick and thin.
DeleteAnd yes Sunehri is a pure soul. She needs happiness and fulfillment of her dreams. As psagars put it in the comment above the essence of RR is - "good people are always beautiful".
And yes. Mano is a master of edits. Doing her thesis now on Parud ........
DeleteRudra pain was well said dear…...... Nice one
ReplyDeleteThanks Prabha.
DeleteLoved the update beautifully written Aman pov at Rudra pain and lost and new hope with Myra loved that he married Suneri LOVE the collages and the emotion awesome update.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathrina. Glad you liked it. Collages are simply too good - aren't they ? Always wanted Sunehri to get her wish. She is such a sweet heart.
DeleteLovely update. Justifying Aman's marriage to Sunehri was good. It's what real life is about. Not everyone can have a perfect partner or soul mate. Anyway what is perfect for one person may not be the same for the other.
ReplyDeleteRudr's journey through his grief was heart wrenching.
Thanks a lot Custodian75. One of the regular readers was not convinced about Aman marrying Sunehri. So I had to put across the logic. Not everybody is this world want (and can get) movie type romance. You have said it correctly. That is what real life is all about.
DeleteRudra's journey must have been heart wenching. Even more than what I wrote. Alas our CVs did not showcase it in the serial.
Thanks again for reading and commenting
Hi JJ,
ReplyDeleteemotional chapter. The way you put into words the four stages of grief brought tears into my eyes. This is how it should have been Rudra's life all those seven years. Nice closure to terrorist activities.
Glad for Sunehri- Aman. I was may be one of the few who was waiting for Sunehri-Aman jodi in RR, but again it went differently.
Mano beautiful edits.
Thanks Sushmitha. For reading it, liking it and commenting. Closure to terrorist activities is not yet done. Can you imagine Thakursa giving up so fast ?
DeleteI also am quite glad for Aman and Sunehri.
Thanks for liking the edits.
And for got to add- Oooh. I am feeling the way Rudra did when Paro kissed him first time. So thrilled.
DeleteI should have known that Tejawat won't quit easily. Face palm to my self.
DeleteEagerly waiting for the reason behind Rudra quitting BSD.
Hi JJ, some thoughts
ReplyDeleteYou showed Sunehri being close to Kakusa. A suggestion, maybe you can use it in further chapters. This Shantanu and Sunehri fiasco could have being used as the reason for Mohini's transformation. If you look at the way projected in the show, Mohini' love for Sunehri was pure. Sunehri was the only one untouched of Mohini's taunts and schemings.
You haven't yet projected Sumer, Shatabdi's and Samrat's feelings. Are they standby players or they too have some role?
I liked that Rudra didn't give up his BSD job immediately after Paro's death. He rigorously pursued the case and put most of the men behind bars. He gave up the job 3 years back and that too for a better reason. Now really want to know the reason.
And the last thing. Paro's supposed death happened 7 years ago, Rudra left his BSD job 3 years ago and Thakur didn't hear Rudra's name from last 5 years. I am curious how will you connect these numbers?
Agree about Mohini. She never was taunting Sunehri except mildly. She had pure love for her daughter. Now I wonder why that was. CVs never explained it. And I am also not able to come up with a reason. But I will keep this in mind. Though the CVs showed Mohini to be still against adoption after the leap - maybe the Shantanu fiasco changed her.
DeleteSamrat, Shatabdi and Sumer ? Well what can I say. I know such characters exist in this world. But somehow I could never actually appreciate these three characters. I mean Shatabdi was just introduced to teach Mohini a lesson. Or just a blessing in disguise for Maithili. Samrat was spineless always. And Sumer - except for some time in the middle when I could connect with him - they kind of made him a comical person. So not sure how I can bring more meat into their roles. Thinking still...
Yes the reason for the BSD resignation will be revealed later. But not sure whether it will be convincing for you. But dekhte hain Big smile
Ah numbers --my favorite. I trust numbers anyday compared to emotions. In real life am a person driven by just logic. And more logic. I am an extrovert and can entertain any group size. With jokes, anecdotes etc. But writing is not my forte. My emails , SMS and messages are crisp and to the point. IF made me write. On the daily takes. On many other threads here. And then the H&F thread made me write longer paras. It is VERY VERY difficult for me to write these chapters - believe me. I am not a creative person by nature. My logic side of the brain overshadows the other side anyday.
And now I am aghast that I wrote some lines in the chapters and some numbers there without thinking. Only when you put those three numbers here that I realize I have no story to spin around 7,3 and 5.
7 and 3 yes. But have no clue where the 5 came from. Oh my logical brain where are thou ?
Reshma, thanks dear. You make me think more and help me to connect the dots. Please continue helping me with this process.
Thanks again for writing down your views.
Honestly tis chapter is ur best work. Rudra lost in paro's world nd waiting fr her , everything is beautifuly written nd at the same time made emotional
ReplyDeleteLooking fr next update

DeleteWow JJ ...This is by far the best chapter of yours..Kudos for that..
ReplyDeleteFirst of all very sorry for the delay honey..u know the reason..urs is the first PM I checked and read...
Fabulous update..I so wanted to see Rudra yearning for Paro after her so called shitty murder to have at least ..but as usual they rushed that sequence too...sighs...
But you captured those emotions so well and Mano's pics took me totally into JJ's RR land both visually and mentally..I know Diya is helping with you on this story..If she had a hand in this chapter, convey my special appreciation to her as well...
Totally loving this progress..that last line of Paro wanted me to enter your blog and squeeze her hard...though it is almost 2 months since RR ended and almost 3 months since Paro died , I still in my heart feel Paro will come back some how like a crazy..Am so happy u r doing this JJ..Thank you really...
Mano and Diya, u both are awesome and such sweethearts to make this beautiful jewel for JJ..Hats of to all u trio..
Tum Sab log ab yeh best chapter best chapter bolke - are scaring me. You know ?
DeleteYour delay is pardonable :-) Aakhir real life moonchiya is the most important person in life.
I know about the anger we all feel towards the way Paro's death and Rudra's pain was handled. As I wrote in twitter -they killed Paro physically and Rudra mentally. And the audience in every which way...
We are a team. And all the praise goes to all of us equally. So I will inform Diya and Mano
Thanks a lot Deepa. For reading it first. For liking it so much and for commenting. Hope we can continue to entertain you
u depicted rudra's emotions beautifully.Rudra needs 2 share d truth with someone.otherwise its suffocating.But with whom?Aman?aman-Suneheri a jodi...surprise..luv Rudra Aman relation.missed myruh/paro
ReplyDeleteYes Rudra needs Aman. And Sunehri also needs Aman. And we need Aman for the story to progress LOL

Thank u my dear for making it easy to comment here. You say u r nt a great writer bt for me u r an awesome writer. U r doing GREAT. Love all ur chapters.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that Aman is back in the story. And that even Sunheri’s dream got fulfilled and she married a “Wardiwala” :) I believe after Paro, Aman was another person who plays a very important role in Rudra’s life. And Aman can feel the pain of the Ranawat family as he did loose everyone who was his family.
ReplyDeleteThe reaction of Rudra after he got separated from Paro is very much expected especially from a person like Rudra who loves her beyond madness, beyond everything.
When we experience a huge heart break we hold on to that loss with all of our heart and soul. There is a natural evolution that is part of A HEALING CYCLE: Mourn. Heal. Rebuild. Re-Enter. Mourning takes place, healing begins but it never ends for the rebuilding and re-entering phase to start. When we lose something or someone our heart breaks because we have to detach from that person. Detachment is tough.
I am excited to read what happens when Myrah’s parents will come to india and meet Rudra for the first time in person. What is Tejawat plotting? The story is getting interersting now! Waitng to read the next chapter
Thanks Sonam. For reading and writing down your views. Glad you liked Aman- Sunehri.
DeleteYou are right about healing cycle. It is easy to talk about. Healing to end is very difficult. I feel some people just ping pong between mourning and healing
Glad you are liking the story. Hope we can keep the story interesting in the future as well
hi JJ !!! Last night I read your latest chapter and read this once again because I had liked it a lot. Last week I was unable to post my comments here, however, the comments did not get posted because my little one sat on the escape key and deleted everything! hee.hee!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that this chapter of your's I really liked becasue of the simple reason that you did show Rudra's loss . Him losing Paro was not just a very casual affair, it was a catastrophe which was downplayed in the serial itself and I really broke down seeing so.
Rudra , the person he was shown to be would not have moved on with anyone, he would not have given Paro's place to anyone come what may! It was just not possible. Thank you dear for bringing this up. It gave me a little peace.
The story progression otherwise is good too! Loved that you have Aman standing alongside with Rudra!!!
Your little one is so cute. At this age she knows how to get your attention.
DeleteI felt emotional after writing the chapter. I am sure a better writer would have done more justice. Ab hum kya karein ? I can only write what I can !!
Am so happy you liked it. I am sure Rudra went through heart wrenching pain.
And Aman had to be there. Who else can Rudradev trust ?
Wonderful chapter JJ - loved it all of Rudra's pain at losing Paro and Aman and Sunehri's story was beautiful too -how I wish they had done this in th show but your brilliant writing makes up for it! neet2407
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for liking my edits and appreciating it.
ReplyDeleteSorry I couldn't reply everyone individually.
my sentiments exactly mathili
ReplyDeletesomeone is out there to ruin your peace it seems
someone called thakur tejawat
sorry to swear
kameena mara nahin
damn if only rudra had finished him off right
less hassle coming their way in future
ahhh so aman liked sunheri
but due to whole shantanu episode he wasnt able to confess to same
eventually though he found her
hmmmm wow rudra really loved paro
but he regrets the fact he didnt show her that before she died
which is maybe why paro's bholenath gave him another chance
and this time he better not screw up
he tried to keep paro alive
and that came true in reality too
after all she is well and alive aint she
but still need to know about the switch
of myrah and paro
that is the key to it all
how they lost their paro
and myrah parents found her instead
so trying to impress his inlaws huh
this should be fun
well if he wont tell aman who else would he tell
he can trust aman with anything
and know that he wont let his emotions vome in the way like mathili
